We love where we live and like giving back when and where we can. The community donates food to the Thursday Count Food Bank each autumn. Bring your non-perishable food items to any fall league night. Sign up to volunteer at the food bank warehouse on November 24, from 4:30-6pm.
This is a community event open to anyone. This is your chance to pitch tournaments you want to go to, other frisbee ideas that you would like the community to join or support, and learn about other tournaments that you might want to play this next year! If a pitch gets enough interest, a team is formed and off you go!
When: Sunday, November 9th at 12:30pm
Where: 3 Magnets Brewing back room (600 Franklin St SE STE 105, Olympia, WA 98501)
Details: All ages are welcome! Can't make it? Email your pitch to olyultimate@gmail.com and we'll present it for you.
Get ready for the return of the Capital City Scramble! This is a 4v4 mixed adult indoor fundraiser tournament that was a huge hit last year. There will be a 50/50 raffle again this year and prizes!

We value Spirit of the Game (SotG) rules to ensure we play with respect for opponents and all teammates. The goal of the leagues is to support our thriving community, make new friends, and connect with longer-lasting friendships doing things we love. Mainly, playing ultimate frisbee and hanging out. We also look for ways to support the broader community through food drives, book fairs, and community garden events.
We strive to make this sport accessible to everyone. You are welcome to join us anytime.
We first started an Olympia ultimate frisbee league in 2003 with just 40 people. During this time there was no guarantee that we would have enough for 7s at pick-up, and on some days there was a telephone tree (pre-texting days) to encourage people to come out. At that time, we only played March through October and we only went to tournaments occasionally, if we could find enough women to attend.
The sport and the leagues have grown quite a bit since the inception. If you are interested in playing, coaching, organizing, designing, or just promoting the sport generally, there are plenty of ways to help. We are a community-led organization that relies on the skills and support of the players in each league. We are currently running a weekly pickup, an adult league for each season, building a community around youth league, and a traveling team goes to several tournaments each year. Plus- we are friends and have loads of fun!
